Men’s Golf Adds Kansas Transfer Shaun Campbell

OMAHA, Neb. – New Zealand native Shaun Campbell will transfer from Kansas to Creighton to continue his men's golf career, head coach Judd Cornell announced today.
Campbell will enroll at Creighton in January and have 2 ½ years of eligibility remaining.
He is a product of Aquinas College High School in Tauranga, New Zealand, where he won the 2017 Cambridge Classic and was the 2016 New Zealand Amateur medalist.
Campbell played in four events while at Kansas in 2018-19.
He tied for 44th in his debut at The Jackrabbit, earned a tie for 14th place at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate and tied for 54th place at the Hawkeye Invitational. He also competed in one round of the Big 12 Match Play Championship.
Overall, Campbell averaged 73.56 strokes in nine rounds, with a low score of 70.
Campbell's sister, Alanna, is a former member of the golf team at Iowa State.
