After stumbling to a 2-4 start to the 2021-22 season, the Sun Devils come to Omaha on a three-game winning streak. Arizona State bested Fordham, Texas-San Antonio and Harvard during the streak, also posting wins over Marist and Northern Colorado earlier this season.
The Sun Devils' four losses came to Minnesota, at BYU and to Baylor as well as Houston.
The leading scorer for the Sun Devils is Jade Loville (12.9 ppg). Although Loville is Arizona State's only player averaging double-figures, the Sun Devils are a very balanced team with five additional members ranging from 9.7-to-7.0 ppg.
Arizona State is a team built on defense, limiting its opposition to just 35.5% from the field this season. The Sun Devils also apply pressure to their opposition, forcing just under 17 (16.8) turnovers per game.

Keys To the Game on Sunday, Dec. 12
Jensen Dominant in 72-58 Win over Villanova
Lauren Jensen took little time to put the BIG EAST on notice, dropping 23 points on Villanova in her second conference game. More than simply scoring, the Minnesota native tied for the team lead with four steals and grabbed five rebounds in the Bluejays' 72-58 win over Villanova on Dec. 5.
Early NET Rankings Good Sign for Bluejays
While its early to begin looking at NET Rankings and pondering postseason status, Creighton appears to be in a good spot as the calendar brings the Bluejays toward the holiday season. Entering Sundays' game with Arizona State, Creighton is 38 in the NET, the second highest team in the BIG EAST.

Keys To the Game on Sunday, Dec. 12
- Rebound: Both teams are strong on the glass, but for Creighton it will be critical to gang rebound.
- Open the Outside by Getting Early Offense Inside: The Bluejays have been a three-point team for years, but the 2021-22 squad must score on the interior to create space for its shooters.
- Hustle: While Creighton and Arizona State are built differently, the two teams are fairly evenly matched. Those games come down to hustle plays.
