OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Westside High School standout Kolby Brown has signed a letter-of-intent to play men's golf at Creighton starting next fall.
Brown joins fellow freshman Grant Feldman (Austin, Texas) in CU's 2022 recruiting class.
Brown tied for 25th at the 2021 Nebraska State Championship as a junior after tying for 63rd as a freshman. He also made the cut at the 2020 Nebraska State Amateur and finished tied for 15th at the UHY Kansas City Junior in 2021.
He's also stayed busy when not on the course, playing quarterback on Westside state champion football team in 2020 as well as a member of DECA.
Brown comes from an athletic family, as his dad, Kris Brown, was a placekicker in the NFL for 12 years and his uncle Drew Brown kicked in the CFL.
The Bluejays are led by third-year head coach Judd Cornell.
