Last Time Out
Creighton collected a 3-1 win against Kansas City on Monday afternoon at Morrison Stadium as three different Bluejays found the back of the net for the first time this season.
Callum Watson, Owen O'Malley each scored their first goals as Bluejays, while Dominic Briggs converted his first of the season and third of his career.
The Bluejays improved to 5-4-0 overall with the victory, and the Roos moved their season record to 3-7-1.
Watson opened the scoring during the 14th minute. The Hastings College transfer received a pass from the right wing by Keegan Boyd before sending the ball inside the left post from 17 yards out. Boyd and Diego Gutierrez each recorded assists on the play.

Charles Auguste recovered an attempted clearance from the Kansas City goalkeeper following the corner-kick sequence and sent the ball ahead to Duncan McGuire. Briggs added to Creighton's goal total in the 54th minute. The sophomore received an outlet pass at midfield from McGuire before recovering the ball, flipping it over the goalkeeper and sending the ball past the end line.

Bluejays Fighting For Postseason Spot
Creighton holds a 4-2-0 mark in league action, and the Bluejays are second in the Midwest Division with a .667 winning percentage.
For the spring of 2021, the BIG EAST is split into two divisions. Each team plays home-and-home against the opposing divisional foes. The five Midwest Division teams are slated to play eight league games, while the six East Division teams are scheduled to play 10.
The top two teams in each division with the best winning percentages will qualify for the BIG EAST Championship, which will be hosted by the team with the best winning percentage across the entire league.
Creighton's remaining league schedule consists of a home match against DePaul on April 2 and a match at Butler on April 10.
The Bluejays' clinch a spot in the conference tourney with a win against DePaul on Friday and a Butler draw or loss to Xavier on Saturday.
Creighton also clinches a spot in the postseason bracket with wins against both DePaul and Butler.
The Bluejays win the Midwest Division with victories against the Blue Demons and Bulldogs and a Marquette loss against Xavier (April 10).
Recent Goal-Scoring Surge
After being shut out twice and scoring only five goals through the first five matches of the season, Creighton has found its offensive rhythm.
The Bluejays have scored 11 goals during their past four matches, including three or more during three matches.
Nine different players have scored during the last four matches, while Diego Gutierrez and Duncan McGuire have each scored twice.
Overall this season, 10 players have scored at least one goal and 11 players have at least one assist.

Creighton has never lost consecutive matches at Morrison Stadium during the same season.
Creighton's loss at Morrison Stadium against No. 17 Virginia Tech to open the 2017 season followed the team's loss at home to end the 2016 campaign (2-1 vs. Providence), marking the first time since 1985 that Creighton had lost consecutive home matches.
