Cade McCallum is tied for 37th place after improving his opening round 76 by one shot with a 75. McCallum is currently 11 shots better than where he stood last year after 36 holes at the BIG EAST Championship.
Nate Vontz's 79 was thrown out on Tuesday. His 150 total through 36 holes puts the two-time All-BIG EAST choice in 36th place. His lone birdie of the morning came on the fifth hole, which helped him compile a 44th straight round of 79 or better.
