Creighton and Nebraska Baseball To Resume Suspended Game Prior to May 9 Tilt
Creighton and Nebraska will resume the April 19 game, suspended by lightning, on Tuesday, May 9 at 5:00 p.m. at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha. The Huskers will be the home team in the resumed game, batting with the bases loaded and no outs in the bottom of the seventh.
Following the completion of the suspended game, the Huskers and Bluejays will meet in the series finale scheduled for 7:06 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The regularly scheduled game will not begin early.
Tickets for the regularly scheduled game on May 9 will cover both contests, with gates opening at 4:00 p.m.Tickets from the game on April 18 will not be honored at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
Creighton to Host "Salute to Service" Game this Saturday
Creighton Baseball will host their annual "Salute to Service" game at Charles Schwab Field Omaha this Saturday, May 6. First pitch against the Xavier Musketeers is set for 6:00 PM.
Before the game, fans are invited to check out the various military and first responder displays on the concourse and outside the field in Lot C. The "Salute to Service" game will include a pregame parachute demonstration, an enlistment ceremony and multiple recognitions for military members, veterans, and first responders throughout the game. The evening wraps up with a post-game Bellino Fireworks display.

Since Creighton joined the BIG EAST in 2014, just one team with double digit victories in conference play has ever missed the BIG EAST Tournament. That came during the 2021 season when series were expanded to four games, pushing conference
matchups to its highest point. That season St. John's missed the postseason with a 10-16 mark (.385).
