After posting a 1.54 ERA and 4-0 record for the Caravan in his senior season, Curtin was named to all-state and all-district teams.
Curtin was ranked by Perfect Game and Prep Baseball Report as Illinois’Â
third-best southpaw in the class of 2022.

- Making 21 appearances in the 2025 season, Curtin pitched 29 innings and recorded a 4.97 ERA.Â
- Curtin only allowed 16 earned runs and 35 hits with 20 strikeouts.
- Shane delivered 13 scoreless outings, including six of his first seven appearances.
- In a win over Kansas State on March 11, Shane tossed two innings with three strikeouts in the Bluejays’ 9-8 win.
- Curtin’s longest outing of the season saw the southpaw toss 3.2 innings of scoreless relief against San Francisco in a 5-2 win on March 15.
- Shane collected a season-high four strikeouts in three scoreless innings during NCAA Regionals at Arkansas on May 31.Â

- Shane appeared on the mound in 24 games, tossing 38.1 innings.
- He compiled a 3.52 ERA, allowing just 15 earned runs and 43 hits.Â
- Curtin threw 16 scoreless innings, recorded 37 strikeouts and tallied three games with four strikeouts or more.Â
- In a 3-2 win at Stanford on March 25, he tossed two shutdown innings with three strikeouts.

- Shane saw action in seven games during his freshman campaign.
- He tossed a combined 6.0 innings, posting scoreless outings in his last two contests.
- Curtin hurled a scoreless frame against Butler in the Bluejays’ 16-3 road win on April 28.Â
- He closed the season with four strikeouts and allowed just one extra base hit.
