2018-22 (Elkhorn HS)
- In his senior season Ayala slashed .363/.473/.406 at the plate while logging a 3-0 record with a 2.46 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 42.2 innings on the mound.
- Ben helped Elkhorn to a district championship, tossing a complete game with 13 strikeouts and two hits surrendered in the title game.
- Ayala was named to All-State as well as Elkhorn’s student-athlete of the year in 2022.
- Ayala’s favorite place to eat in Omaha is DJ’s Dugout.
- Ben owns 28 pairs of shoes.
- He chose Creighton because it’s good academically and close to home and wanted his family to come to games.
