2024Â (Redshirt Junior)
- After leading Creighton in BIG EAST play with a .350 average, he clinched All-BIG EAST Second Team honors, one of three Bluejays to earn this.Â
- Kyle appeared in 41 games with 34 starts stationed at second base, recording .302/.435/.434Â at the plate, tied for fifth on the team for batting average and on base percentage.Â
- Hess boasted 15 RBI, 28 runs scored, six doubles, five stolen bases, and four triples, tied for the most triples on the Bluejay roster.Â
- He assisted the Bluejays in earning just their third three-game sweep over Nebraska going 3-for-7.
2023 (Redshirt Sophomore)
- Injuries limited Kyle to six games in 2023, allowing him to use his redshirt option.Â
2022 (Redshirt Freshman)
- In his debut season with the Bluejays, Hess appeared in 48 games, starting at third base 47 times, and slashing .238/.377/.345 at the plate with 24 RBI, 31 runs and six steals.
- On April 10, Kyle had a career day in a win over Georgetown with six RBI on 2-for-4 at the plate, including a 7th inning grand slam, his first of two home runs on the season.
- Hess went 4-for-5 in a May 7 affair with No. 15 Connecticut, scoring two runs and slapping one of his 10 doubles.
- Kyle posted a pair of three hit performances, going 3-for-5 with one RBI and a run scored in Creighton’s 8-1 victory over Seton Hall on April 22. The other came in the Bluejays’ 7-1 win over Villanova on May 19, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
2020-21 (Notre Dame)
- Hess made 10 starts and 14 total appearances for the Irish in their ACC Championship season as a freshman.
- At the plate, Kyle collected eight total hits, three doubles, six RBI, and six walks in 32 at-bats in 2021.
- Hess scored four runs and stole one bag while committing just two errors on 49 chances.
- Kyle did not play in the COVID shortened 2020 season.
2015-19 (St. Peter’s Preparatory High School)
- As a senior captain, Kyle led the Marauders to a New Jersey state tournament run with a .439 postseason average and .395 overall average while also leading the team in steals, walks, on-base percentage and triples.Â
- Hess collected all-area, all-conference, and all-county honors, while also being named a captain in the New Jersey All-State game as a senior.
- During his junior season, Kyle won the county championship with the Marauders and was an Underclass All-State and All-Area selection.
- Hess was also a captain, four-year letter winner, three-time All-State and three-time all-county player on the St. Peter’s Prep soccer team.
