Getting to Know Nate McHugh
- Nate appeared in 42 games, making 31 starts.
- McHugh logged 111 at-bats, hit .270, collected 24 RBI and 30 hits.Â
- The junior delivered nine games with multiple hits and six multi-RBI performances.
- He launched two home runs against Portland in the second game of a doubleheader on Feb. 21.
- Against UC Davis on March 9, McHugh had six RBI, blasting a grand slam in the Bluejays’ 9-3 win over UC Davis.
- He delivered three RBI in the Bluejays’ 11-8 win over Samford on March 29 in 10 innings.
- In Creighton’s 6-3 victory against Villanova on April 26th, McHugh added another home run going 2-for-4.
