2022 (Junior)
- Bergstrom was one of the most relied upon arms out of the Bluejay bullpen in 2022, tossing 41.1 innings in 25 appearances, earning a 3-1 record with 42 strikeouts to 14 walks surrendered.
- The southpaw pitched 3+ innings in relief on six different occasions, his longest appearance of the season being 3.2 shutout innings with four strikeouts against Loyola Marymount on Feb. 25, earning his first win in 2022.
- Paul recorded a three inning save against Wichita State on March 25 with no hits surrendered and two strikeouts.
- Bergstrom established himself as one of the top arms out of the Bluejays bullpen, posting a 2-0 record and 1.12 ERA across 17 appearances (32.0 innings pitched) with 28 strikeouts and a .218 opponent average.
- Paul was named Second Team All-BIG EAST after posting a 1.53 ERA with 17 strikeouts in 17.2 innings pitched in league play while holding BIG EAST opponents to a .206 batting average.
- Bergstrom did not allow a run in his first 12 outings (20.2 innings pitched) of the season.
- In the second game of a May 21 double header against Xavier, Paul labored 6.0 innings in relief on the mound (previous career high was 4.0 shutout frames on May 2 against St. John’s). Bergstrom conceded no earned runs and just one walk to five strikeouts in the 3-2 win over the Musketeers.
- Bergstrom made eight relief appearances during the 2020 season, posting a 6.75 ERA across 5.1 innings pitched with four strikeouts and three walks.
- In a March 8 affair against Portland, Paul pitched a scoreless inning striking out two.
- Bergstrom made 15 appearances during his first year as a Bluejay, tossing 10.1 innings. He closed the season with five strikeouts and a 5.23 ERA.
- Paul went 1.2 innings in consecutive appearances on April 6th and 9th. The southpaw posted a pair of scoreless outings, helping Creighton best Nebraska 10-2 on April 9th.
- A three-year letter winner for the Dons, Bergstrom was an All-East Suburban Athletic Conference selection as a junior.
- Academically Paul was ninth of 178 in his senior class.
- Paul’s parents Lee and Lucy were both student-athletes at Carthage College, his brother Jason plays basketball at Illinois-Springfield and sister Joy plays basketball at South Dakota.
