Women's Tennis Kicks Off Spring Break Trip With 7-0 Sweep of Sioux Falls

Bluejays have won six of their last seven matches
The Bluejays improved to 8-4 and extended its winning streak to four matches. Creighton also owns victories in six of its last seven outings.
During doubles play the Bluejays dropped only three total games. Meredith Benson and Gabby O'Connor claimed a 6-0 win at No. 3, Kate Krueger and Sarah Wilcox won 6-2 at the top position, while Emma Gener and Erin Epperson combined for a 6-1 win at No. 2.
Krueger and Wilcox have tallied six consecutive victories at No. 1 doubles and are 8-2 overall this season.
Creighton won in straight-sets at each singles position and fell in only six games. Gener (No. 3) and O'Connor (No. 6) each won without dropping a game.
"This was a nice start to the beginning of the outdoor season," assistant coach Jean Lilly said.
The Bluejays return to the courts in Orlando on Tuesday with a match against Georgetown at 11:15 a.m. Central at the USTA National Campus.
