Creighton is hitting .261 as a team, led by Nolan Sailors (.331), Sterling Hayes (.308) and Tate Gillen (.301). The Bluejays raised their team average 15 points against the Red Storm, collecting 44 hits in three contests. On the mound the Bluejays bring a team ERA of 5.42 in the games with UNLV.

Andrew Meggs Named BIG EAST Player of the Week
Creighton senior Andrew Meggs claimed his first BIG EAST Player of the Week as the Bluejay second baseman led Creighton to a series sweep of St. John's over the weekend.

Meggs went 9-for-18 (.500) with his first home run and seven RBI. Meggs shined brightest in the Bluejays' rally on Sunday with three RBI singles as Creighton overcame a 7-1 deficit to defeat the Red Storm 8-7.
